“Each morning sees some task begun, each evening sees it close; something attempted, something done, has earned a night’s repose.” —Henry Wadsworth Longfellow

Catch-up day makes for boring pictures, but there’s a lot of feel-good in banging out a few pages of math, cleaning the kitchen while your child reads aloud to you, sharpening a pencil worn down from writing lines of q’s, talking about crescendo while your speech is accompanied by interpretive dance, finishing up one knitting project and starting another, letting the chickens free range all day, riding bikes and even managing to throw some errands and laundry in there.
