Another lovely day at the Nook! Here’s what we did:
We started with Music & Movement with Kimberley. The instrument of the day was the flute, and Kimberley let all the kids push the keys while she played. There was also lots of dancing and singing!
Luba brought back the wool that we had sheared and washed, along with her carders, and the kids took turns throughout the day with carding the wool.
It was easy to spend a lot of time outside on this beautiful day!
I led a small group of kids in an impromptu music appreciation class. À la SQUILT, we learned about the Baroque period and Bach. We listened to Toccata and Fugue in D Minor while drawing.
Book Club outside today!
Neval led the kids in a corking workshop. More handiwork and more fine motor skill training!
